About Our School

CIT public school is a new venture and a dream project of Sri Channabasaveshwara Swami Rural Education Society(CRED Society). The society was established in the year 2K under the dynamic mentorship of Sri G. S. Basavaraju, who was a member of Indian Parliament, with a vision to create centers of Excellence in education and other allied fields. The school is partnering academic excellence with coral academy for learning and management.

Why CIT P S ?

Every parent wants his/her child to be a successful person in the society. Schooling is the foundation on which the building of life is sustained. The challenge is to give a foundation on which any structure can be built. While it clearly calls for an overall development of the child, perhaps the exclusive domain of the school and its first responsibility is the academic competence of the child. This is also what gets assessed and certified. It is to say that physical grooming, emotional growth ,social and psychological development of the child are also to be given equal importance. But at the same time school must acknowledge the dominant role of each and every stakeholder include parents, society, media and government in all of these.

However, Sharpening the intellect of the child is the primary responsibility of the school. At the  end, we wish to develop the child into a happy, health, productive, sensible and responsible citizen. To give to the next generation, a world better than what we inherited is the duty and responsibility of each and every one of us. We, the educationalists have the opportunity to influence and impact the future of the younger ones, entrusted and kept under our care must discharge this duty with atmost caution.

It is the vision of the institution to be a holistic learning centre which provides academic  excellence in a value based quality environment. The school also aims not only to imbibe knowledge but also to bring out the full potential of children to improve the quality of their life.

 

The main objectives of CIT Public School are :

In the process of realization of the projects outcome we have taken care to provide the following

 

  • Centum smart board enabled classrooms with multimedia interactive board, computer, projector and sound systems.
  • We have recruited qualified, competent and committed teachers who are capable to create a peaceful, harmonious and motivational ambience for the students to nurture and develop. The dedicated and futuristic faculty form a formidable workforce marshalling the pupils towards purposefulness and excellence.
  • A school for cultivating values in life through daily processing is taken up to cater all the facets of a holistic institutional way of life.  Extensive and well equipped state-of-the-art, age appropriate activity labs to groom up their life skills and to stimulate multiple intelligences.
  • Spacious library and reading rooms coupled with accessibility of digital library tools, language labs for imparting techniques for oral and visual communication, science, maths, social studies, computer and Information Technology lab, bio informatics and bio-technology lab, Tinkering and Robotic labs et.. are on our priority rankings.
  • CIT’ans can make use of all sports infrastructure made available in the campus.
  • Special arrangements will be made available for various indoor and outdoor games.
  • We arrange special programmes for remedial guidance for slow learners and students with differential learning abilities, Similarly advance learning platforms will be provided for those talented students to stimulate their HOTS(Higher Order Tinkering Skills). Programmes for personality grooming, career guidance and counselling are also integrated in our curriculum package.
  • The school has buses to provide transport facilities to the students.
  • The latest trend, “Happiness Curriculum” will be a unique feature of CIT Public School. For this yoga and meditation will be incorporated in our school curriculum. Activities for IQ(Intelligent Quotient), EQ(Emotional Quotient),SQ(Spiritual Quotient) and PQ or HQ(Passion Quotient or Happiness quotient) will be taken care of. This purpose will be achieved through the value education courses and programmes.
  • Various edutainment activities, outdoor learning activities in kids entertainment places or science parks etc. are planned scientifically.

Social involvement is another area which we are eagerly looking for. Co-Scholastic learning programmes will be  given special attention. Club activities and House systems will be arranged in such a way that the student will  attain  life and maturity skills to the maximum extent.

The Next Generation @CIT Public School

Information and communication Technology is fast changing the world and we, the educators cannot be isolated to the benefits and positive impact of modern day technology in every aspect of our life. At CIT, we believe that modern day schools and classrooms must reflect the changing face of the world, so that our pupils are fully equipped to take on the world when they leave the school, The traditional talk and chalk method of imparting knowledge is no longer sufficient, hence we recognize that IT can be a powerful tool in the hands of teachers as they strive to make learning more effective and interesting for the child. More importance and updating the scope of STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects will be given added priority. Liasoning with a Finnish School (Finland), students & staff cultural exchange programme with overseas schools and study tour to NASA( National Aeronautics and Space Administration) etc., are our distant priorities
